The spa at Four Seasons Cayo Largo is one of the many amenity buildings among the 150-key resort on Puerto Rico’s east coast. Marmol Radziner’s design is rooted in the modernist heritage of Latin America and the indigenous architecture of Puerto Rico’s history. The board-form concrete building leads guests through a seamless interior-exterior experience through treatment rooms, steam rooms, and saunas all surrounding a lush courtyard that hosts the Hammam spa and overlooks the ocean.

Numerous consultants are involved on this project including aquatic engineers, sauna and steam room specialists, lighting designers, and Hammam spa specialists. Coordinating this large team along with their specific equipment and building requirements was a unique aspect to the design process.
